After a decade-long relationship, Stanley Security Solutions once again renews its Automated Quote Building service with i-MARK
FARMINGTON, CT — November 1, 2010 — Stanley Security Solutions, a division of Stanley Black & Decker and the top provider of secure mechanical access systems has once again renewed its SaaS eBusiness Agreement with i-MARK. In 2000, the automatic door division of Stanley Security Solutions, Stanley Access Technologies, came to i-MARK because they needed to change their business model and replace their unproductive and unreliable paper-based quotation process, which is used by a diverse set of internal sales reps, quotation specialists and resellers across the U.S.
Using i-MARK’s 24/7 BUSINESS™ system, i-MARK created an internal web-based quoting system for Stanley. The quoting application, which is used to place orders for automated access control products worldwide, is a central source for all to examine product information and installation, security system configurations, custom options and rates for travel, warranty and freight. Additionally, the quote system maintained a history of the process for the representatives such as quote revisions and histories, change orders, contracts, scopes of work and job submittal dates.
This SaaS-based quoting application has evoloved and has had several ‘spin-offs’ over time as Stanley’s needs grew and as they added new divisions. The streamlined quoting processes achieved using i-MARK’s 24/7 BUSINESS quoting module continue to help Stanley Security Solutions save hundreds of thousands of dollars through productivity gains while getting their products quoted and sold accurately, at a lightning pace.
